My name is Faten Fawzi. I have held many positions in the field of early childhood including Teacher, Director, Director of Programs and most recently Senior Vice President. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology and a Masters degree in Early Childhood Professions from Schoolcraft College. During my spare time I enjoy running, taking leisure bike rides and spending time with family. I am inspired each and every day by the amazing work being done in the One Hope United early learning programs. I am in awe when watching an infant engage with a caregiver or a preschool student master writing his name; we are preparing young children to be successful in school and life. Thank you for considering us as a partner in your child’s education and an employer of choice.

Teacher
I Zahira Kassem, have worked at the YWCA of Western Wayne County Head Start since 1998, as well as a Highscope Consultant and Program Director at Early Learning Prep International. I feel like I would be a valuable asset to Bambiland Learning Center not because of how long I’ve worked in early childhood education but because I have been able to use my experiences and knowledge to implement new ways of teaching, such as the Highscope Curriculum and share my experiences by training teachers in the classroom. I am able to translate between Arabic and English with ease, which helps me reach out to a more diverse group of children and their families.
